Who we are

VieVoca is operated by VieVoca Ltd ("we", "us" and "our"). For any privacy enquiries, contact our Privacy Officer at support@vievoca.com.

 

Information we collect

When you register your interest in VieVoca, we collect your name, email address, your preferred VieVoca bundle, any comments or questions you provide, and the date and time of your submission. Wix may also collect technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information.

Why we collect your information:

We use this information to record and manage registrations of interest ahead of our December launch, respond to your registration, and operate and protect our website in line with our legal obligations. We will not use your information for an unrelated purpose without your permission, unless otherwise permitted by law.

Providing your information:

Providing your information is voluntary, but we cannot record your registration if required fields are left blank.

How we store and share your information:

We use Wix to host our website and manage form submissions, and Wix may store this information outside New Zealand. We remain responsible for information processed on our behalf and take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

We do not sell or rent your information. It may be accessed by the VieVoca team, by Wix and its service providers (to operate and secure the website), and by professional advisers or authorities where required by law.

Security:

We take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

How long we keep information:

We keep registration information only as long as reasonably needed, reviewed at least annually. We'll normally delete or anonymise your details within 24 months of your submission.

Accessing or correcting your information:

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting our Privacy Officer at support@vievoca.com, with enough detail for us to find the right record.

Privacy complaints:

If you have concerns about how we've handled your information, contact our Privacy Officer at support@vievoca.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
